EVERETT COMPLETES INITIAL PUBLIC OFFERING
VANCOUVER, B.C. – EVERETT RESOURCES LTD. (the “Company”) has completed its initial public offering and effective at the opening of the market on December 20, 2007 will commence trading on Tier 2 of the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol EAR. The Company issued 3 million common shares at a price of $0.34 per common share for gross proceeds of $1,020,000. Canaccord Capital Corporation acted as agent for the offering and received a cash commission equal to 8% of the proceeds of the offering, warrants to purchase up to 300,000 common shares at a price of $0.34 per share, exercisable for a period of 2 years from the date of listing, and 50,000 common shares of the Company.
The Company will focus on exploration and development of precious and base metal properties in North America. The Company’s principal property, the Vanguard Property, located in the Thunder Bay Mining District, Ontario, will be the subject of a $340,000 exploration program during 2008.
